We are divided into four different purchasing areas:

Raw materials
Packaging material
Technics, services and indirect material
Co-Manufacturing

Within these areas, lead buyers are coordinating and bundling the group-wide needs of essential materials. With an annual cost of materials of approximately € 1 billion, our competitiveness depends largely on our suppliers and service providers. The purchasing department is faced with the constant challenge of sourcing materials and services at the right time, in the required quality and at a competitive price due to volatile markets and globalization-driven change. At the same time, of course, the material and services should be consistent with the ethical, environmental and social principles of Hochland.

Therefore, the entire supply chain is expected to successfully master these challenges. For this reason, we at Hochland rely on long-term, open and cooperative business relationships with our suppliers and service providers. Only in this way we can develop together, establish competitive, customer-oriented products in the market and meet customer requirements together.

Hochland stands for high quality, innovation, reliability as well as social and ecological responsibility. We assume that these values are also represented by our suppliers. In addition, we demand from our suppliers and service providers to always act in line with compliance requirements and agree to our Code of Conduct. Furthermore, we expect them to leverage optimization potential as part of ongoing productivity gains.
